I have been giving ale a bit of a rest lately. Mainly due to my growing stomach, but also because I have stacks of wine to get through ! I’ve had the odd pub lunch with Brad – but nothing exciting enough to write about. Until today!

- via @anthonydawson: Arkells Kingsdown Ale is a very nice pint. Not as good as the other 3!!
- via @anthonydawson: third up is Purity, Pure UBU at 4.5% is far more drinkable than the citrusy Oakhams. This is a lovely pint.

- A fine pint of Moorhouse's Pride of Pendle 4.0% at the George and Dragon in Headcorn.
