Golden Champion – another ‘thumbs up’ for Badger?

Badger Golden Champion

I wonder sometimes if trying a ‘Golden Ale’ after a bitter ale is a smart move, but why not?

This is another Badger offering that doesn’t fail to disappoint. Much sweeter than the other, non-Golden Ales, this one also has a flowery smell. It reminds me of when I used to make Elderflower wine. Checking the bottle it is Elderflower, and at 5% another really deceptively good strength ale. This is quite sweet and is another one that I would put with Golden Glory – i.e. bucket of ice, full of this stuff, anything is better than Stella!

I think that is 4 different Badger’s I’ve had now — a set if you like (sorry for the pun!), and all have been good in their own way.

Try it – I reckon you’ll like it.
