Rolling Hitch, Knot bad!

Posted by: Tony In: Bottles

I was beginning to think I was going off bottled ale. I’ve had a good 10 bottles and not enjoyed any of them. Until I found ‘Rolling Hitch’ by Darwin Brwery Ltd.

I picked this one up in ASDA. I bought one of everything they had – and so far this has been the best. I won’t mention the others as I think I will give then a second chance… probably me at fault -not the ale.

Rolling Hitch is a very tasty bottle. It is nice and hoppy and leaves the right taste in your mouth. It is very refreshing too.

Rolling Hitch is an Indian Pale Ale which is brewed in Sunderland. The ale is named after the Shipping Knot – …of which there were thousands tied on Wearside’s Famous Roperies and Shipyards.

This award winning ale comes in at 5.2% and tastes really good indeed. I will get some more next time I am shopping.

Try it out for yourself. It is definitely up there with some of my favourites.
