Summer Lightning is an award winning ale from the ‘Hop Back Brewery’. Apparently this ale – Summer Lightning – has won 70 awards.. mainly from CAMRA
I can’t see the appeal. After all the other bottles I have drunk over the last two weeks this one is definitely not one I have enjoyed.
It didn’t leave me inspired to keep drinking it after the first gulp – and when I got to the end I was still left unsatisfied.
As ales go – I wouldn’t recommend this one. And I won’t buy it again. I don’t do second chances!
