Slightly underwhelmed with Tangle Foot

Posted by: Brad In: Bottles

I managed to find a pub in london which serves Badger Brewery ales on draught. It’s called ‘Old Nick’, it’s in Holborn and I’d been meaning to go there for ages. The place suffers from – not being open at weekends – but is very nice, and this was the first weeknight in quite a while that I’d spent in town. It’s selection of four draught ales was pretty respectable, but I was really keen to see what Badger Tangle Foot was like. It’s brown, has some flavour, is generally pretty boring, and definitely not worth nearly £3. I’d recommend the pub, but wouldn’t rave about the beers – which is a shame.
