Duchy Originals Organic Ale

Duchy Originals Organic Ale

Prince Charles has his own food line. Top quality produce and all organic. Amongst it all is Duchy Originals Organic Ale.

Made to a traditional and exclusive recipe using barley from selected organic farms including the Home Farm at Highgrove (Charlie’s house!) – this ale comes in at 5.0%

Prince Charles pretty much pioneered organic farming in 1990 and – although many mocked him – pretty much everyone has now followed suit.

But anyway – back to the ale. This organic ale is very tasty. It comes close to the St Peters Organic Ale – which I will compare it with tomorrow. It is quite bitter but at the same time quite refreshing. I could probably drink quite a lot of this – it has a distinctive taste that I find unusual but enjoyable.

As an added bonus, all profits from Duchy Original produce go to the Prince of Wales Charitable Foundation – so there is a reason to buy it if nothing else. It has the poshest ale label of them all too – very classy and as good as any top quality wine label.

Try it out. It is definitely worth a try.
