Bottled Adnams Broadside

Posted by: Tony In: Bottles

Adnam's Broadside

Broadside is a fine pint. Brad and I have had it in a number of pubs and despite it’s high strength – i.e 4.7% – it is really good. So, what about the bottled variety?

Bottled Broadside is really strong. 6.3%. And it tastes really strong too.. really nice though. It was a bit too cold for my liking to start with.. it had been sitting at the back of the fridge for a month.. the bottle had ice on it… so I left it a while and it was a fine ale to sup.. I’d want to be at home drinking it though.. as I can’t imagine I’d be standing for long after a few of them…

I have to say I prefer this to bottled Abbott and bottled Landlord.. but the night is young.. I might change my mind in 3 or 4 bottles time…

Nope.. even after an award winning bottle of Deuchars.. I still like it…
