Where is the ale?

Posted by: Tony In: General

France may be a great place. Full of beautiful scenery, fabulous wine and great cheese. But one thing they lack is ale. Alefinder.com is all about good ale and where to find it. But you will never see a French Auberge or inn featured on the site.

Now I eat out a lot in Lyon, France and I have searched high and low for ale. And can I find any? — No! If you want awful French lager, France is the place for you. If you want passable lager, bottled Belgian lager can be found floor to ceiling in every Supermarket. But ale is nowhere to be seen.

My mission is to introduce ale to my French friends — and hopefully extend the ‘alefinder’ word outside the UK. Chances are slim — but lets see…
