The Golden Boar Inn, Freckenham

Posted by: Alan In: Pubs, Suffolk

The Street, Freckenham, Suffolk IP28 8HZ, UK (map)

The Last time I visited the Golden Boar at Freckenham they had NetherGate Umble Magna. But what ever they have in it is always very well kept (a guy called Cambell has excellent cellar skills). The pub is owned by a solicitor from London who has transformed this pub from the proverbial ‘Sows ear’ into a silk purse. The food is good too with accommodation having been added recently.
